I do not have a web site yet, and the York is in pieces at the moment (although clean and de-dented). When it is finished, I will post photos for the world to see. It looks exactly like the catalog depiction of the model 692, except with a detachable bell feature like Mike Johnson's. The one other departure is that the bell engraving is simpler. It has an upright bell, and a recording bell.
I agree with you on the ergonomics of the valves. I have always preferred the front pistons at an angle, and particularly thought the Olds valve sets were well-made. Old Olds, Conn and York Master BBb tubas I've owned in the past had as good valve action as any tuba in the world.
