Thank you for the lesson in phone etiquette. I also find it annoying when people leave their cell phones on during rehearsals etc. but people make mistakes. In defense of myself, I would like to say that this is the first time that I've left the phone on in a situation like this, and that I immediately turned it to silent (which is a good thing because my friend called again about 4 times in the next 5 minutes).
So, for all those who were there and found the interruption annoying - I apologize. However, it is a pretty darn funny story, and I think you will agree with me that this may be the most positively received cell-phone interruption I will ever encounter.
