What is important to this college has nothing to do with what an individual wants or needs. It is up to the band director there and the fine arts director and mainly their budget. I see no reason to spend $'s on a CC tuba for a 2 year school. It is simply not worth it or not necessary.

If you want to play a CC then go buy it and you can learn CC with your instructor and you can play it in the groups there and problem is solved.

I agree with the opinion that the individual needs do not outweigh the many. If you have nothing more than music education at this school than nothing more than a BBb is needed.

Most of the responses here have pretty much told u that and u are not listening like u are not listening were u are at as well.

Im not a fan of Yamaha 641's and there are better BBb tubas for the money out there that play better, project better and have a better sound. The fine arts director and the band director need educating. This is nothing new in this business.

Yours is a simple solution and not the schools problem at all. Move or buy a CC and move on. You knew the school did not have them when u went there in the first place.
