Technically this is beyond me. Only I note that the promoted version of XML is in an early beta stage (0.6b).
Points where more engraving publications strugle are ties, slurs, and spacings. Are you sure, that their very different parameters and very varying methods of generating parameters can be brought within the same set of formulas?
I would hope so, but I doubt.
