Yes, it's a Yamaha stencil, but look at who's bidding. It's a lot of people with no feedback, and a bidding war between two people. These are people who see a shiny tuba, by a company that they know because of their trumpets, and they assume that it is therefore a great tuba. Many of the people buying on that site have no clue what they are getting.
It's just like the person that I was told about who paid list price for his Yamaha YBB-641, and then paid extra for the case, that should have been included in the price. He then was shocked when he was offered less than half of what he paid when he went to trade it. If you don't know the market, you are likely to get ripped off.
