Which Mirafone?
The Getzen and most Mirafones are radically different horns, and the differences between them are much more than just BBb vs. CC. I wouldn't be surprised if a Mirafone CC, of the same basic design as your BBb, had many of the same playing characteristics as the BBb. Better to compare two similar horns from the same manufacturer in the different keys.
