The trombone players will likely have more air issues than the flute player. Also, make sure the trombones keep their tongue down. That comes fairly naturally to tubists, but cylindrical brasses use a lot more tongue movement than conicals. So, if you're hearing a laser tone and the embouchure looks OK, check tongue placement.

Make sure the flute player uses enough bottom lip. They will naturally try to buzz with their flute embouchure, which doesn't emphasize the bottom lip as much as tubists. They will also likely try to shove their entire face into the mouthpiece.
