I would try to play the 3302 along with the 3301, (4-valve) for comparison. I've found the 3301 to be a great instrument but never liked the 3302 as much. The five-valve model seemed very stuffy to me. I know that a lot of people like plastic valve guides but I don't trust them. A student of mine had to borrow a horn at an audition when one of the valve guides let go making the tuba unplayable. The horn was less than two years old and the student was not the careless type.
