This is a very unpopular opinion on a board that is full of republicans, but I think the Government should step in and do something. Please indulge me in my fantasy here; perhaps if orchestras were subsidized by the government one day, and it was done in an efficient manner, ALL concerts would be free to the public. Now that would attract a few listeners I am sure.
Not that my little dream will ever happen, but just another thought. This is a problem I have with America. This strict capitalism fosters an atmosphere where the thing of greatest importance is making money and outdoing the Joneses, etc. I'll stop before I go on a real tangent....
