Joe,
Since I am writng from home, I can express my own personal opinion. Thank you! If Dale wants the best compression, his valve section is detachable and would be a great canidate for sending to Anderson for a valve job. King's valves are not by any means, the tightest in the industry. However, why should he have to spend $400 for a valve job on a new horn? We can get him something better from UMI. But if he wants real tight valves, he will need an Anderson valve job done. That is what I personally would do. What's an extra $400 on a bargain of a tuba for 20 years of enjoyment? Matt
