I was told by once by an old barbershopper and Vaudville performer about performing and life ingeneral, that "if you lay an egg, STAND BACK AND ADMIRE IT." He followed that with, "Smile all the while, brother. Never let 'em see you sweat. Sell the 'sizzle' and send 'em home tapping their toes. They came to have a good time, and all you gotta do is give it to them, boy. All you gotta do is sell it." Works pretty good for a positive outlook on life.
