Well its easy to learn trombone if you have relatively good pitch. Start with the very beggining of the Arban, the extremely easy exercises so that you learn where each note is in tune on the specific trombone your playing. Also, practice often with a tuner, GOOD GOD THATS IMPORTANT. Nothing worse than a trombone player with bad pitch.
