Rick, when you're right, you're right. I feel alittle ashamed of myself for over-reacting to sectional problems. I should leave it up to the director to correct these problems. About ten years ago I unexpectedly became disabled and unable to work. Not one to feel sorry for myself, on the encouraging of a friend who played in a community band. I set about purchasing a tuba (hadn't play one in 30 years) and relearning my chops again. Within a few weeks I was playing in the community band and was having a ball!! I admit I get too intense sometimes, but I'm trying to be more patient. I'm happy to say that I now play in two symphonies (non paying) and the community band. My life is full. Thanks for listening.
