Gordon Cherry has a CD out of alot of orchestral excerpts. While not an exhaustive list(a few are missing due to copyright laws, Proko 5, Pictures)it is an astounding compendium of stuff. It can be had for $91.00, Brian F. has it available on the Windsong Press site or you can do a search and get it from Mr. Cherry directly. He was quick and efficient. It has not only the complete tuba parts, but also ALL the trombone parts. All you need is Adobe Acrobat and a pretty fast computer. EVERY tuba player should own this thing, it is the single most amazing resource for orchestral study ever produced. How about the complete parts to the Ring Cycle? They're on there as well as every Mahler and Bruckner Symphony along with the Planets. Just looking through it, you will find some amazing things that, hopefully, we will someday play or heard played more like the Elgar Symphonies. Get it NOW.
