I've never played the FC, but if it helps I own an original Helleberg and I have tried the Laskey, which, in comparison, feels, to me, like playing a coffee cup. I recently acquired a Walburton Arnold Jacobs which I am enjoying; it provides a better bottom end without loosing any control in the middle and upper ranges. It is also a very comfortable mouthpiece, although I, unlike many others, don't mind the sharp edge of the Helleberg.
