While at miserablemelodies.com listen to Florence Foster Jenkins. Have not heard this in years. The recording was done at a live concert in Carnegie Hall. She used to be a hit at the ladies musical circut in NY, people would flock there because she was so bad. Problem was she had money (like Hearst - type dough) in addition to a tin ear. She rented out Carnegie and, to get in you had to plead directly to her about how much of a music lover you were. If you dared laugh during the concert you were kicked out. On the cover of the album is a pix of her in a dress complete with angel wings.
She was a true legend! Listen to it.
