I used a JK (Joseph Kliere) 3C and 3D, the latter I liked better. Both are fairly large in depth but with a little bowl action to them. Dillon has them.
Relating this horn to the other piston 4/4's out there, I should re-state that I do like the Hirsbrunner better for sound quality and have not played the Rudy Meinl or Gronitz 4/4. For the $$, I think this horns a winner.
