I have a 1970's vintage Alexander Model 163 (4 valve) tuba for sale. I dropped my previous price rather than put the tuba up in storage for a couple of years.
If you are interested in buying a great tuba at a really good price, you may want to consider this.
This is a fine instrument with the beautiful sound only an Alexander gets and very workable intonation, played professionally. This tuba has excellent response from top to bottom with an exceptional high register. The low register is solid.
A Tuxedo gig bag is included. The mouthpiece receiver will accept the standard No. 1 Morris taper but a bigger shank works better. I use a Dillon M1C and have one available, used.
I am selling because I have always played piston valves and never got used to the different feel.
