Please don't buy a m.p. sight unseen, based upon somebody's recommendation. You must get out and try some pieces on your own. Go someplace that has a fairly wide variety. Find something that you like that isn't too radically different from what you're used to, and stick with it for a long while. Learn to play the horn, not the mouthpiece. Otherwise, you run the risk of becoming yet another m.p. junkie, when the real issues involved with your playing may not have that much to do with what m.p. you're using at all.
