Maybe because of all the flats involved, I actually found learning the V-W to be easier on BBb tuba, than on CC. Yes, it's more of an F tuba tessitura, but if you don't own one, you don't own one. Learn it anyway. Just rest your chops when you get too tired - you don't want strain them too much.
