I played this horn about a week ago. It plays VERY well. So well, in fact, if I hadn't recently acquired a very good PT6P, I would have bought it. I almost bought it in spite of this fact.
It plays la little like a PT6P, but with a slightly different color (more Willson-esque?). It's not a cloud of sound. It's more cannon like, in a good way. It has very good intonation and a very direct sound. It's good soft and loud. It's HEAVY and TALL. I'm 6'2" and it felt tall to me.
I like it a lot more than the current Willson CC in almost every respect.
As for the price, I think it could easily be priced at around $6500.
I have no connection with BW other than I've spent too much money there!
