How can one spend several thousand dollars with confidence to buy a used tuba through eBay, sight unseen, from an unknown seller? Doesn't the nature of bidding and paying for items on eBay preclude test-paying the horn?
This is NOT a rhetorical question. I would bid on this tuba myself, but I'm just not familiar and comfortable enough with this format of doing business. Any comments, BBS readers?
