I can only comment from my own experience on the F tubas. They play well, esp. the low register. But I am just not sold on the sound and I found the pitch to be worse than I anticipated. I have not played any of the Yamaha CCs, but I have heard them. I don't care for the sound...not warm enough. Just my thoughts.
