Wow! Have I got a ton of e-mail and phone calls about this horn!!! First, I did post on Mudd's BBS and yes the tuba has four pistons and one rotary. Sorry. I'm still interested in a trade or cash. But I have no idea what the market value of the horn is. Does anyone have an idea? 3,000-6,000 I guess?
Concerning a trade, I've had several people come up with cervenys. Seems the market is flooded with them. When I played a piggy in the 70's I liked it but Joe Novotny said: "that's just (AT)#$%! Joe had a way of cutting to the chase. He liked the Marzan and made me get ride of my Miraphone BBb and forbade me to even speak of getting a king BBb. Tubby and (AT)#$%^& flat said Joe.
Anyway, all I want is either money (which I'd send to my dad because he bought the horn for me in 75 and he really needs the cash now) or get an easy playing shmoozy horn. Thansk everybody! Steve
