I've got to be in Joe's corner on this one. Let's get the perspective here. Joe is a dealer, which most of the rest of us aren't, so his resale prices are going to be more like the rest of the retail market(when's the last time you went car shopping?). And if he is one of the rare ones who do fine tuba repair, like Matt at Dillon's, I would tend to think his prices are in line with theirs, maybe better. Of course, in the case of most of us who just play and want to resell a horn, we don't usually have to figure in reconditioning(and the years of experience invested learning that feat), overhead, parts, etc. My .02, Ike.
