Good grief! 3 octaves above middle C on the tuba!!! With a tuba mouthpiece? I know a few (GOOD) trumpet players who can't play that note! I don't think I've ever even played the C which is one octave above middle C (I've hit the Bb just below it a few times) on my tuba and I thought I had a pretty decent high range. Wow! Assuming you can play down to the pedal tones, that implies that you can play 7 different octaves of a C. Sheesh.
Oh well, guess I oughtta keep practicing...
