I've found (through painful experience) that Finale seems to work better on Mac than PC (and I don't like Mac). There's less bugs and less quirks to deal with. When I'm composing or arranging, I like to think about the music, not the problems in setting up the pages, spacing, text, lyrics, etc. My roommates and I have a Mac devoted to musical purposes only, and we use a PC for everthing else.
