I play on a 2165 which is comparable in size to your 6/4. I have recently found that small mouthpieces mix nicely with the large horns. My new mouthpiece is a PT-24+ that Dan Perantoni helped me pick out. It sounds great and gives me some much needed bounce and liveliness to my sound with the big horn. The best part about my new mouthpiece is that it works just as well with my Yamaha 621 F, which is just as small as the 2165 is big. I don't know if this exact mouthpiece will work for you, but the small approach in general might. It's worth a shot, at least.
