I found an old beat up 12J in the back of our band room and took it out to see if I could put into use. I took it out and gave it a try and LOVED it! The horn plays smooth and the valves have a quick response and the tone has just enough edge. If that old piece of crap sounded that good, I can only imagine how pleased you will be with a new one. Just my humble opinion.
