CW:
You ask about the Jupiter:"I would also be interested in thoughts on the Jupiter tubas, the price is right but if they are similar to their student trombones and clarinets I'm not interested.

I am surprised the Jupiter has come so far. I have a student on the horn and it is fine. I'm not a spec guy so I won't tell you the 5th partial is sharp and the 11th is flat. it has a good sound and is built well for a school horn. It's silver plated. The case is huge and protective. The pistons have not given us ANY problem. Like I say, I'm pleseantly surprised. I think it ran about 3000 from Dillon
