I have experience with two of these, the YBB-641, and the -186. The 186 is far superior than the Yamaha. The linkage is better, the intonation is better, and the durability is better. I also feel that the lower and upper registers are more accessible to younger players, and it blows much more freely. In my opinion.

FWIW, I have never heard a bad thing about the VMI 3301's, and MW-25's have a good rep as being good, and indestructible. Search the archives for opinions on the Jupiters.
