Maybe your idea would warrant the creation of a new cable network, the Circus Channel. Certainly a blastfest would be more appropriate for such a venue. It might be a tough sell to the ARTS & Entertainment Network. If you got just a little more creative, you might be able to convince the Sci-Fi Channel to pick up the event. Maybe you could hold the event at the large radio telescope array in the Southwest and instead of listening to signals, ala SETI, you could rig some microphones and use the array to transmit the results and see who answers. Anybody else think we could best the Tolneps and Hawvins? (Please excuse the obscure Sci-Fi reference)
