Yes, you are talking about the same piece. It is scored for chorus and wind instruments - no strings at all. I did the piece on bass trombone in the late '70's, and it was one of my favorites to play (I wish someone would give me the chance to do the Mass No. 3 (f minor), though! Beautiful music!!
