This post GREATLY risks appearing egocentric, and at the VERY least opens me up to a tremendous amount of kidding and ridicule. Well, here goes:
When I respond to someone's question or comment, lately hardly anyone ever seems to disagree. Months ago, four or five people would jump on top of me with their disagreements, or to poke holes in my theories or opinions about whatever. Frankly, I enjoyed the "discussion", particularly when it was (as it usually was) civil.
Have the gentlemen who often disagreed with some of my points simply become totally disgusted, has the substance of my comments degenerated into "milk toast", or have I evolved into such an amazing tuba-topical genius that everyone is always in complete awe of my remarks? {;^/)
...gotta love the love, but clever and polite flames are fun, too (and a heck of a lot better than indifference).
