I agree absolutely that there is nothing wrong with my Miraphone. I'm not at all interested in replacing it, or getting rid of it. I'm looking to expand my capabilities with a different style of horn, something that complements the Miraphone. That's why I'm not interested in the Rudy Meinl or big Cerveny route. If I got a big Rudy Meinl, I'd end up selling it or the Miraphone, depending on which one went to the gigs. The horn I'm seeking won't compete with the Miraphone.
Like I said, I didn't understand when my old acquaintance sold his Alex after buying a Yorkbrunner. (I understood the part about needing to to pay the bills.) Those seem like complementary horns, only sharing large size in common.
