Even though my opinion is biased I play on a PT-10 five valve. It's the model 3099W with the graduated bore throughout the whole instrument and the fifth valve on the back of the left hand. I purchased it second hand about two years ago and the only problem I've had is I've been unable to locate a two-tone slide for the fifth valve, which affects th intonation on the bottom G flat (with the fifth valve), but it's not that far to lip down. Purchased new the instrument comes with both slides. The guy I purchased it from hasn't been able to locate the extra slide. He now plays on a PT-15 five valve, (right hand). I don;t know if he's pulling my leg or not every time he plays my horn, he says he should never of sold it. He also plays a PT-6.
