Klaus, If you were to obtain two or more bells that fit an instrument, each having different desirable characteristics, someone could fabricate detachable braces at the bell-to-upper bow flanges and at the mouthpiece receiver flanges. The bottom of the bell, where it would enter the bow tenon, would need to be sealed with silicone - or the like - each time a bell was changed.

Top-of-the-line saxophones have cement seals between their straight conical "stacks" and their bottom bows. On saxophones, this joint is reinforced by a band which fits "just so" over the joint and is pulled together tightly by two screws. I'm not sure this would be necessary on a tuba bell, especially if something like silicone with a bit of "give" was used (instead of cement) and perhaps if one additional detachable brace was added between the bell and, say, the interior lower bow.

This is certainly do-able, but not really available.
