I am currently working on Carnival of Venice and am having some problems with getting all of the notes to speak on some of the fast stuff. As I was pondering how to fix this problem I remembered reading something in the Miles Davis Autobiography. He was explaining why a lot of his music was not as technical as some of his peers. His reasoning was that he just didn't hear notes that fast. I was wondering if this is the problem that I am running across and if it is, does anyone have some ideas on how to fix it. To save time, yes I am doing a lot of slow practicing, just figured I'd throw that in to save some typing.
