The York wasn't modeled after a specific Sousaphone, to the best of my knowledge. It just does share several traits a large Sousaphone may have. BTW, there have been CC and 4 valve Sousaphones made (but maybe not by York). Also, the original Sousaphones were bell up (raincatcher). Also, the outer several inches of flare on a sousaphone bell does more for show than sound, you could probably slice 2 inches off alround, reroll the edges, and not notice too big a difference in the sound.
A jumbo or monster Sousaphone will have a similar bore and taper to a York style 6/4 horn, just a different direction bell with a bigger (and largely useless) flare. The leadpipe is also probably not too different in length, although it is in a very different configuration.
