A friend filling the most prestigeous euph post of our country consequently has the YEP 321’s used by his students altered to accept bassbone mpc shanks.
Personally I would be extremely reluctant to impose that cost on anybody. My solution has been the Denis Wick 4AY mpc, which specifically has been designed for the the 321 and maybe for its smaller sibling, the YEP 201.
The results obtained have motivated no further costs of horn modifications.
Not intending to take you out on a dead end trip I can tell, that I am using that mpc myself on my old B&H Imperial baritone.
