I recently acquired an old MW F tuba with six valves (4+2). The lacquer is still very good. I'd like to have the horn professionally cleaned, including the valves and linkages. What would be a reasonable price for this work? In a telephone conversation with a local repairman, he estimated the cost would be about $150. Does that figure seem about right?
