Maybe a bit of background info on your experience in your first post might have saved you the apparent "insulting" remarks. Clairivoyance is not a gift most of us are blessed with.
Being the accomplished pro and studio cat that you are, ruling out your superb chops and ability to tell a good horn from a dog, if you're looking for some hardware gimmick that makes your horn *feel* different, not necessarily *sound* different, check the archives using such keywords as "leather belt", "scooped rotors", "tone ring", "Monette", "cryogenic", "heavywall" and "leather thong".
