looks like a nice horn. It's funny how the plating on the bow seems to in much worse shape than the rest of the horn. should not be too hard to make a tuning slide. a valve job could be expensive, but less than the cost of even a 3 valve student line instrument.
If you like BBb tubas, and are up for a project, and have a repairman you trust, I say go for it.
