Even though I am partial to Meinl-Westons because I play one, I think that the PT-6P is a pretty versatile tuba. It is a little on the larger side of tubas, but with the large sound concept of today, I think it would fit into many facets of playing. Even though you didn't ask comparisons, I will add them. In general I think the B&S PT tubas are broader, lighter sounding, and the Meinl-Weston tubas have a heavier, more compact sound with more bite and that's my sound concept, but remember these are my opinions.
