Judging from the variety of warm-ups, it really is a personal issue and one that needs to be tailored to the end result. One I've used off and on (to avoid stagnation) is the warmup from the Feb 1965 edition of the Instrumentalist, found in the Brass Anthology called the Pre-rehearsal Warmup? Anyone else use it?
