Trust Scott, he's right. He knows what he's saying. I even saw Tommy Johnson, Jim Self, and Norm Pearson using their 822S F tuba in the recording for "Pearl Harbor". I actually saw the LA Phil performance of the "Firebird Suite" and Mr. Pearson was using his 822 F for most of the piece, except towards the end he used his bigger 6/4 Yamaha.
