I used to be in awe about the Daryl Smith's until I saw what else was out there. I have gone from a BBb to a Getzen CB50 CC and I think it was the best choice I ever made. A Getzen will probably not hold you back at all, except for the high D on most of these horns (mine isn't a problem at all). Depending on what you are looking to spend, check out Baltimore Brass. I think he's still got one kicking around up there.
