Matt's suggestion is better than this one, but if the plastic in the slot ends up completely coming out of the threaded hole and not staying in place, you could get a fat, round wood toothpick, clip off one of the pointed ends and discard it, "screw" the blunt end into the threaded hole, and clip off the other end (sticking out) short enough to fit into the casing's slot.
