I was trying to avoid horn issues...I know that the horn I play on is known for having a "generic" sound. It is the YFB 822. I get compliments on the fullness of my sound and its darkness. But these compliments are from non-tubists. I will try some different mouthpieces and try and pick up the CDs you suggested. Thank you for the suggestions.
