I one time came in to a rehersal and sat down with a bari sax. It was my first experience playing a woodwind instrument. What made it funny was that the director wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for most of the saxes busting a gut laughing at me.
I've also played my Tuba like a French Horn (upside down and hand in bell)
These things were form my more rebelious youth :)
